About us.
Capital Bridge Partners was founded by Daniel Rabb and Ken Wei in 2008 amidst the global financial meltdown.
The goal was to provide liquidity to an illiquid real estate market. Banks were foreclosing and selling properties in
mass quantities. We found a lending niche to provide quick capital to entrepreneurs buying these assets.
As we moved out of the Great Recession, we further developed our lending services to identify special
circumstances where banks will not lend, but where we can make a smart real estate loan that is highly secured. We
pride ourselves on closing quickly to meet the parameters of a fast-moving deal, even when working with impaired
properties or borrowers with impaired credit.
We have lasted the test of time and our ever-changing real estate markets because we both genuinely enjoy what we
do each day. The stories, the deals, and the people are fascinating. We love drilling down into a story to quickly
get the full picture, identify the needs, and provide reliable funding fast so hardworking entrepreneurs can reap
the rewards of their work.

Daniel E. Rabb

Danny is a Co-Founder and Partner at Capital Bridge, and its predecessor, Red Tower Capital. He has worked in private real estate lending since 2008 and has spent his entire career in real estate holding positions in private equity, development, and acquisitions with Industry Capital Management, Brog Properties, and ATEL Capital Group, respectively. Danny spent the first few years of his career in New York City working at The Staubach Company and Chase Securities. Danny received a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder designation and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
More than anything, Danny enjoys spending time with his two daughters and wife, hiking, biking, and playing in the waters of Marin County!

Ken G. Wei

Ken is a Co-Founder and Partner at Capital Bridge, and its predecessor, Red Tower Capital. He has worked in private real estate lending since 2002 and has spent his entire career in real estate. Prior to Capital Bridge, Ken founded VGI Venturestar Group and in 2002 alone funded over $200 million worth of loans. Before Venturestar, Ken was a branch manager for New Century Financial and began his career in 1996 as a Loan Officer with Ameriquest Mortgage. Venturing deeper into residential investments, Ken founded Pathmark Group, a successful developer of TIC units in San Francisco. Ken received a B.S. from San Francisco State University and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
When not at work, Ken is a great dad and husband, son and grandson as well as an avid connoisseur of Bay Area fine dining.

Senior Loan Officer
In 2021, Nick joined Capital Bridge to help expand our lending portfolio. He began his career in the 1980s at Wells Fargo Realty Finance where he helped finance the construction of marque San Francisco properties including 101 California Street and 101 Montgomery Street. Nick then started his own firm, Borel Financial Group, with the founder of Borel Bank. In 1998, Nick joined United Commercial Bank and became the #1 producer in Northern California. He later became Sr. Vice President for Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the world's largest bank and was also top producer for Tri-Valley Bank in San Ramon, CA.

Ruzer Nagal

Senior Loan Analyst
Ruzer has worked in real estate finance for over 15 years. He has experience processing loans ranging from conventional to VA and FHA loans, mobile homes, jumbo, commercial, and business purpose loans. Apart from processing, Ruzer is an experienced escrow coordinator, property manager, and Notary Signing Agent. Ruzer has a bachelor’s degree in Management and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
He takes pleasure in being with friends and family and takes pictures at each company meal.

Liz is our Originations Associate based in Los Angeles, focusing on expanding our presence in Southern California. A native of Southern California, Liz has spent time in Shanghai and Barcelona, where she studied and developed a strong passion for food. Her career in real estate finance started after studying Business Administration at the University of Redlands. Since then, Liz has concentrated on business development and sourcing, with a strong enthusiasm for all things development & construction.
In her free time, you can find Liz reading, discovering art, and driving across town in prime LA traffic to try a hole-in-the-wall restaurant.

Senior Accountant
Sonny proudly joined the Cap Bridge Accounting team in 2022, moving all the way from Melbourne, Australia! His work in Accounting & Finance ranges from industries spanning the legal, retail, and advertising worlds. He started as a bank administrator, taking on progressively more complex accounting roles, eventually leading the finance department of a mid-sized law firm. He looks forward to applying these experiences to Capital Bridge’s real estate strategies. Sonny was born and raised in Darjeeling, India. After finishing school, he moved to Australia to establish his accounting career and completed his bachelor's at RMIT University.
Lana has worked in finance since 2011. Prior to joining Capital Bridge Partners, Inc., she worked for Gross Mortgage Corporation, PF Wealth Management Group, LLC, and Propp-Reinhardt, LLP assisting in mortgage and loan servicing, financial planning, tax planning, and accounting. Lana graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Psychology and is currently studying for her certificate in accounting.

Wilson Chen
Advisor
Wilson Chen serves as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Jackson Square Aviation (JSA). Since the company’s inception, Mr. Chen and his team have had the responsibility of developing internal controls, producing financial statements and tax returns, and developing operational infrastructure. Mr. Chen brings with him the experiences of nearly 20 years in the aviation industry and the accreditations of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and an Accounting degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of California Berkeley. Previous leadership roles at Pegasus Aviation and Sky Holding Company along with his current position with JSA have given him a broad range of accounting, finance and operational expertise.
Steve Wallitt
Advisor
Steven Wallitt has worked as owner and director of a packaging materials company since 1981. He is responsible for decision making in all areas of the company, including sourcing the best and most efficient methods for achieving maximum profitability and the highest quality standards. He has extensive knowledge in evaluating sales and marketing proposals. Beginning in 2008, he has been an investor in both private and public companies, as well as early-stage public companies with personal investments ranging from $50,000 up to $3 million. He has consulted for many of these companies in areas ranging from public market strategies, growth strategies, evaluating contract proposals, cost control and evaluating employee responsibilities in order to achieve maximum efficiencies. Mr. Wallitt has been an investor with the Capital Bridge Partners and its predecessors since 2010 and has served as an advisor since 2014. Since 2017, he has been a significant investor in Alliance MMA and SCWorx. Mr. Wallitt holds a BA degree in communications from Rider College, Lawrenceville, N.J.
